A Class Action for deceptive business practices was recently filed against Cookie Do where it is alleged that the company misrepresented that its cookie dough products were safe to eat, with no chance of food-borne illness. This Cookie Do lawsuit came about when two women, Julia Canigiani and Katherine Byrne, suffered from severe stomach pain, nausea, and diarrhea, for numerous days, after eating defendant's ice cream sandwich and oatmeal M&M ice cream.
