I mean, think about it... Buying for everyone else is almost a full-time job, you should definitely be buying yourself a gift to make up for that this holiday season.

It's almost everyone's favorite, or least favorite, time of year. Though the holidays are usually a time to give onto others, "loved ones," people you tolerate, there isn't anything wrong with treating yourself around this time, either, giving yours truly a little gift for checking through that holiday shopping list.

In fact, a recent survey shows that more and more Americans are taking part of this growing trend of “self-gifting” around the holidays. Buying a little something for yourself is actually becoming a normal part of the Christmas shopping experience -- especially among millennials. Go figure.

Over 75 percent of people have come out to say that they'll get a little something for themselves while buying clothes, shoes, and electronics for others online. Millennials just so happen to be 40 percent more likely to self-gift than Gen Xers or boomers, according to the survey. We're also 100 percent more likely to opt for Avocado Toast over a home. But whatever.
